Community Conduct

Practice Tools

Meditation, chanting, and timer features are provided as self-managed tools. You remain responsible for your own practice schedule and wellbeing.

Points Disclaimer

Bonus Points and Total Points are non-monetary encouragement features only and cannot be exchanged for cash, property, or financial benefit.

Devotee Levels

Level 1 to Level 6 status reflects participation and practice milestones on the platform, not rank, authority, or material entitlement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using plbsea.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the site or any related features, including community participation tools, spiritual practice tracking, or account-based progress systems.

2. User Conduct in the Pure Land Community

plbsea.com is intended to support respectful spiritual learning and participation. Users must conduct themselves with courtesy, sincerity, and consideration for others when engaging in the Pure Land Community and any Communities Events connected to the platform.

We may restrict, suspend, or remove access where user behaviour materially harms the integrity, safety, or intended spiritual purpose of the platform.
  • Treat other users, organisers, and volunteers with respect in messages, comments, submissions, and event participation.
  • Do not post or share content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, or disruptive to the community.
  • Do not impersonate other individuals, misrepresent affiliation, or interfere with the peaceful operation of community spaces.
  • Follow any event-specific guidelines published for Communities Events, including attendance, registration, and conduct expectations.

3. Practice Responsibility

plbsea.com may provide features for meditation timing, chanting counts, reminders, and practice records. These tools are offered for support and encouragement only. Each user remains solely responsible for their own meditation and chanting schedules, physical condition, mental wellbeing, and personal practice choices.

The platform does not guarantee spiritual results, health outcomes, or specific practice achievements. Users should make decisions appropriate to their own circumstances.

4. Gamification Disclaimer

Certain features of plbsea.com may display Bonus Points, Total Points, progress counts, badges, or similar indicators. These features exist only to encourage participation and consistency in practice.

  • Bonus Points and Total Points have no monetary value.
  • They are not redeemable for cash, credit, property, or financial compensation.
  • They do not create ownership rights, investment value, or legally enforceable payment obligations.
  • We may adjust, reset, modify, or discontinue point-based features at any time to maintain fair and appropriate platform use.

5. Devotee Levels

plbsea.com may assign account tiers known as Devotee Levels to reflect engagement with platform activities. These levels are intended as participation markers only.

Devotee Levels are earned according to platform activity rules determined by plbsea.com. Levels may take into account eligible practice records, participation history, event involvement, or other engagement signals. Levels do not represent ecclesiastical status, spiritual attainment, employment, or any right to compensation or authority.

  • Level 1: Entry-level participation after account creation or initial verified engagement.
  • Level 2: Earned through continued use of chanting, meditation, study, or community features.
  • Level 3: Earned by maintaining regular participation and a consistent contribution record.
  • Level 4: Earned through stronger ongoing engagement across practice or community activities.
  • Level 5: Earned through long-term consistency and broader involvement in supported features or events.
  • Level 6: Highest platform tier, reflecting sustained and meaningful participation according to the platform's internal criteria.

6. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate information where account registration or profile completion is required.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, misuse of community features, security concerns, or conduct that undermines the proper operation of the site.

7. Service Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, pause, or discontinue features of plbsea.com at any time, including practice tools, points systems, Devotee Levels, or Communities Events features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or continuous availability of any specific function.

8. Limitation of Platform Role

plbsea.com is a digital support platform for information, participation, and encouragement. It is not a substitute for personal judgement, medical advice, mental health care, or independent spiritual guidance appropriate to your situation.
